Fifthwheels and King Pins
Due to their advanced design and uncompromised quality, JOST fifth wheels and king pins are the ideal choice for imposed loads from 3 to 50 tons. Designed to offer ease of operation under all working conditions, JOST fifth wheels use a well proven locking mechanism that's designed to avoid coupling errors, with no compromises in safety.
Engineered to match the durability and safety of JOST fifth wheels, JOST king pins are manufactured from drop-forged, heat treated steel to withstand the enormous stress and strain endured by articulated loads.
A unique feature exclusive to JOST fifth wheels are wear rings and lock jaws that can be replaced in just minutes, using simple hand tools. Forever eliminated is the need to remove the fifth wheel from the truck chassis to renew these components, (on most models), whilst an Australian-wide spare parts and service network is never far away.
Included in the company's range of fifth wheels are models featuring a centralised lubrication facility for connection to automatic chassis lubrication systems that provide preventative maintenance while a truck is on the move. Features such as these, and greaseless fifth wheels that use special replaceable low friction, synthetic inserts typify the JOST philosophy to engineer advanced technology components designed to minimise service and maintenance downtime. The result contributes to the efficiency of road transport around the world.

We offer models to suit a wide range of trailer applications such as the A400 series which incorporates an internal gearbox with no neutral, extended five year warranty and a 20kg weight saving over major competitors.
Naturally, a firm footing is essential, and with JOST there is a wide choice to suit virtually every condition including rubber-cushioned feet, sand shoes or wheels, in addition to special types of feet to compensate for travel in air suspension systems.
